Recycled Glass Art

Below are some examples of work I’ve completed in the past, from my very first, experimental, test pieces, right up to the more accomplished work I’ve put together more recently. When you look at them, it’s easy to see which are the early ones!  It’s also easy to tell which have been made with real gold and silver, and which have been made with a cheaper substitute - you just don’t get that mirror shine with the fake stuff.

All frames come from the local rubbish dump and are lovingly cleaned, sanded and painted before being put back to work housing their original glass which, itself, has been cleaned, gilded and painted with super shiny enamel paint.
